DPF=Diesel Particulate Filter is a device installed in the exhaust system of diesel vehicles to reduce particulate matter (PM) in the exhaust through filtration. Two temperature sensors are used in the DPF system. One is located near the HO2S turbocharger outlet bend, and the other is located at the DPF inlet, used to control the temperature of DPF recirculation.


The DPF temperature sensor measures the temperature of the exhaust gas discharged from the turbocharger and provides the necessary information to evaluate the DPF temperature before the exhaust gas passes through the DPF. Use this information and other data to estimate particulate accumulation and control DPF temperature, helping to reduce harmful gas emissions and improve fuel efficiency.
